This was a request from a coworker who had seen my cutting boards. I didn't even know stove covers were a thing although it made perfect sense in an RV. I hear people use them in houses too. This is the only pic I have of it. It looks like Walnut, Cherry and Maple. It especially makes sense in an RV because a lot of people rarely use their stove top if ever and this gives them more work space. Of course it works as a cutting board as well and saves on the real estate that a cutting board would take up. Might be harder to clean than a small cutting board though.

Anyway, I worked off of the measurements she gave me and a photo of the stove top. I mounted some wood strips on 3 sides of the bottom to work as feet that would catch against the burner grates and prevent sliding around while in motion. She had the great idea to glue some flat magnets to the feet to eliminate rattling.
