My goal here was to build 2 Pub, or bar height, chairs so I can sit high enough to see over the dam rail. We have a lot of wild life going on in our back yard. I guess I thought that chairs without a table would look stupid so I started with the table.

The legs are pressure treated. The apron and the top are knotty pine. The frame was stained with deck stain and the top oiled with Danish oil then 3 coats of spray on outdoor lacquer. I lightly hand sanded after each coat of lacquer with 400 grit for a glassy smooth finish. By lightly I mean one quick pass with a sanding block.

Next time I'll put the legs on the inside of the apron lol. Not sure what I was thinking there.
