My son found this at a yard sale and it was covered with a decade or more of grime from sitting outside. I estimate this bench is between 50 and 100 years old. After many hours of sanding and cleaning I Epoxied the top and did 3 coats of Danish oil to everything underneath. These photos were taken before I ground the epoxy nubs off the bottom of the seat. The pics including the space art were taken later with the bench on my porch.

This was one of my first epoxy projects which I did in the garage. I thought I should not have to protect the garage floor from runoff but I was very wrong. Years later I still have mounds of cured epoxy big enough to trip over and they are not coming off short of a jack hammer.

I would not sell this but maybe I can rescue something of yours.
