I found this table on the side of the road. It was structurally perfect but the top was scratched, gouged and stained beyond repair. After some belt sanding on the top and major cleaning on the bottom I went nuts with the Epoxy Resin some paint and a little alcohol. I did it just for fun but when a coworker saw it he begged me for it and offered me $100 so he took it home.

The epoxy I use is kitchen counter top epoxy which after 30 days of cure time is immune from heat. You can even take a pan of boiling water off the stove and put it on the epoxy surface.
